What are your ideas for improving King Street?

make the place safe, make it desirable for all age groups not just 15-20 year olds as frequent the bars and clubs nowadays. only allow planning permission for quality venues, nice design, fit in with heritage buildings, perhaps more pedestrianisation, with outdoor seating. Make it respectable again, visit Manchester, Liverpool and even Standish to see where local people are spending their time and hard earned money. Encourage diverse offering, maybe some shops and more daytime business in cafes and restaurants that maybe open later too. Increase Police presence at night to make people feel safer. Live music venues would do well I'm sure.
